• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately at support@riverlearn.co.ke if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Acceptable Use

• Use the platform only for lawful academic purposes.
• Do not share, upload, or distribute content that infringes on third-party rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.

3. Content & Intellectual Property

• RiverLearn content, branding, and features are owned by RiverLearn Inc.
• Student and lecturer materials remain the property of their respective owners.
• By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it for platform functionality.

4. Payments & Premium Features

• Premium features (including AI learning tools) are available via subscription where offered.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• We may change pricing with prior notice; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

5. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Planned maintenance or unforeseen outages may affect access; we will work to restore service promptly.

6. Data & Privacy

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to our data handling practices outlined there, including compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act.

7. Termination

• You may stop using the platform at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or legal requirements.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

• The platform is provided "as is" without warranties, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• RiverLearn Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.
• Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use of the platform.
